Kenya Crew (Planes or Ships) eTA
The Kenya Crew eTA is an electronic travel authorisation for eligible airline and maritime crew members travelling to Kenya for official duty purposes.
It allows pilots, flight attendants, ship crew, seafarers, and other authorised transport personnel to enter Kenya while performing duties related to aircraft or maritime operations.
Documents Required for Kenya Crew eTA
To apply for a Kenya Crew eTA, applicants must submit the following documents during the online application:
- Passport bio page scan
- Passport-size photograph
- Crew ID or Seaman Book
- Identity card of the host
- Airline/cruise booking confirmation
- Accommodation proof or a letter from the sponsor

Kenya Crew eTA Application Steps
Fill out the Application Form
Provide the required passport, travel and other details. Choose “Crew eTA” as your eTA type.
Upload Required Documents
Submit all the required documents. If more documents are required, the applicant will be contacted by email.
Receive the Kenya Crew eTA
Once approved, the Kenya Crew eTA will be sent to your email. Save or print a copy for travel use.
Kenya Crew eTA Processing Options and Fees
- Normal Processing: 3-5 Days
- Rush Processing: 2 - 3 Days
- Super Rush Processing: 1 - 2 Days
Note: The total Kenya Crew eTA Fee depends on the selected processing speed and entry type. Rush and super rush processing add additional cost to the total fee.
