Single and Multiple Entry Kenya eTA
Eligible travellers may apply for either:
- Single-entry eTA: Valid for 90 days, permitting a stay of up to 90 days.
- Multiple-entry eTA: Valid for 1 year, allowing up to 90 days per visit.

Important note: Citizens of the United States of America are currently eligible to apply for a single-entry Kenya eTA only, in accordance with Kenya’s nationality-based entry policy.
Who is Exempt from the Kenya eTA?
Travellers are exempt from the Kenya eTA if they fall under either of the following categories:
- If they are Kenyan citizens
- EAC (East African Community) Partner State citizens are permitted to stay in Kenya for up to 180 days visa-free
- Holders of valid Kenyan residence permits, work permits, or passes
- Eligible holders of diplomatic or official passports
- Nationals ofcountries eligible for visa-free travel to Kenya, as approved by the Kenya Immigration authorities.
Online Application Requirements
- Passport: The passport must be valid for 6 months.
- Passport-Size Photograph: Recent; taken against a white or light background.
