Who Qualifies for a Kenya Tourist eTA?

You may apply for a Kenya Tourist eTA if you meet all of the following conditions:

  • Your passport is from a country eligible for the Kenya eTA.
  • You are travelling for tourism, such as sightseeing or wildlife safaris.
  • You will not engage in employment, business activities, or any form of paid work during your stay.
  • You will depart Kenya before your authorised stay period ends.

Kenya Tourist eTA Requirements

Requirements can change from time to time, but the standard documents for a Kenya Tourist eTA application include:

  1. Passport Bio Page Scan: A clear and coloured copy of the passport bio page. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months and have at least one blank page.
  2. Applicant Photograph: A clear, recent passport-size photograph with the applicant’s face fully visible.
  3. Round-Trip Travel Ticket: Proof of travel booking confirmation, showing arrival in and departure from Kenya. This may be a confirmed flight, cruise, or a valid land travel booking.
  4. Accommodation Proof: Provide a confirmed hotel or guest house booking showing where the traveller will stay during their visit in Kenya.

  • Single Entry eTA
    • Validity Period: 90 days from date of issue
    • Maximum Stay: Up to 90 days
  • Multiple Entry eTA
    • Validity Period: 1 year from date of issue
    • Maximum Stay: Up to 90 days per visit

Kenya Tourist eTA Application Process

Kenya offers a mix of wildlife, beaches, mountains and scenic landscapes, giving travellers plenty of places to explore.

Submit Your Application

Complete the Kenya Tourist eTA online application form by entering your personal details, passport information, and travel itinerary. Make sure to choose tourism as the purpose of your trip before submitting the form.

Pay the eTA Fee

Proceed with the secure online payment of the required eTA fee. The application will only be moved forward for processing once the payment has been successfully completed.

Track & Receive Your Approved Kenya Tourist eTA

Monitor the Kenya Tourist eTA Status while it is under review. After successful approval, your Kenya eTA will be delivered to the email address you provided.
